Exciting news for Pilates enthusiasts in the Barossa and beyond! Adding to the already diverse offerings at the Be...Just Be studio, I'm delighted to announce that starting from Monday, April 8th, 2024, I'll be leading mat class sessions in collaboration with Pilates Barossa.
Partnering with studio owner, Kate Shelby-James, marks a significant milestone in my Pilates journey. Kate and I share a long-standing connection, having started our Pilates path at Polestar Pilates, with, perhaps, a few memorable moments enjoying Barossa's finest🥂along the way! 😊
Based in Nuriootpa, Kate's beautiful purpose-built studio offers a range of classes, including studio sessions (apparatus and Reformer), alongside mat classes. Joining this vibrant community is truly an honor, and I am eagerly looking forward to contributing to the wellness journey of the members.

‘Power & Pace’ blends moderate-paced movements with strength-building exercises and balance techniques, rooted in Pilates fundamentals and infused with engaging challenges.

Participants in this class will explore the use of various small apparatus, enhancing their Pilates experience. Prior experience or familiarity with Pilates will be beneficial for newcomers to fully enjoy and engage in the class.Â

‘Vitality’ offers a dynamic approach to enhancing overall well-being, with a focus on cultivating harmony across these elements:

·     Stability, mobility and balance
·     Conditioning, softening and lengthening
·     Kinaesthetic function, enhancing body awareness and responsiveness to sensory cues.

Integrating self-care techniques tailored to your body’s unique needs, participants will deepen their connection with their bodies. Additionally, breath work techniques are utilised to help ‘quieten’ the nervous system.
